Main controlling factors analysis of hydrocarbon accumulation in T area of Oriente basin,Ecuador

Main source kitchen of Oriente basin is located in the southwest.At present,the discovered reservoirs are mainly distributed in the northern basin,with unique hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics.Based on hydrocarbon migration and reservoir characteristics,reservoir geological characteristics and distribution regularities of oil and gas in T area have been analyzed.The results believe that favorable hydrocarbon accumulation zone was controlled by oil source fault,favorable location of hydrocarbon accumulation was jointly controlled by structure and sedimentary system.Faults,structure and sedimentary system are main controlling factors of hydrocarbon accumulation in the T area,and on the basis of the factors,further prospecting direction in the region has been pointed out.
