Technological research on BQ 10 block steam drive profile control channeling block

  • BQ 10 block is the first integrated block transferred from steam stimulation to steam drive in Henan heavy oil de-velopment,the block reservoir is buried in shallow,with cemented loose,vertical and plane heterogeneity and other fac-tors. After years of high-strength steam stimulation,steam channeling become more frequent,which severely constrained the development mode conversion. At the same time,due to heavy oil reservoir in Henan oilfield laminated thin and difficult to use mechanical block and seal,generalprofile control block in the block steam channeling is vulnerable to pollute the low permeability layers. This paper study the overall profile plugging channeling technology,which use particle plugging agent bridge principle,through the optimi-zation of construction technology,making temporary blocking protection in mid-low permeability layer and blocking high permeability steam channeling in deep formation,which thereby start the potential layer. According to the study of plugging agent formula optimization,performance evalua-tion,compatibility etc. ,the blocking agent formulations,construction parameters and technology suitable for the block has been designed. On-site implementation has achieved good results.
