Experimental Evaluation of Reservoir Damage Caused by Suspension Particles in Waste Water for Injection in Shuanghe Oilfield

  • Large amount of solid suspension particles and oil drops exist in wastewater for injection in Shuanghe oilfield. Laboratory experimental methods are designed based on analysis of reservoir damage caused by suspension particles. Experiment results show that plugging of solid suspension particles and oil drops can result in a permeability damage rate ranging from 35% to 50%. It is proposed that differential water injection measures should be implemented according to the reservoir permeability and fine filtration devices should be installed in wellheads of injectors in low permeability reservoirs.
