Physical properties and quality difference controlling factors of tight sandstone reservoirs——by taking A gas field as an example

  • The reservoir of A gas field is a compact sandstone, and the controlling factors of physical properties are complex and diverse. The lithology, sedimentation, reservoir and physical properties of the three target intervals are obviously different. By using core, thin section, physical properties, sedimentary facies and logging data, the relationship between reservoir sedimentation, diagenesis and reservoir physical properties has been deeply studied. The results show that the quality difference of tight sandstone reservoirs in the study area is the result of the comprehensive effects of deposition and diagenesis, and the main controlling factors of the quality difference are sandstone grain size, sandstone clastic composition, cementation and dissolution.Lithic quartz sandstone is the high-quality reservoir in the study area, followed by quartz sandstone.
