Characteristics and comprehensive evaluation of Chang 10 reservoir in the west of Wucangbu of Wuqi oilfield

  • Based on core observation , the characteristics of Chang 10 reservoir in west Wucangpu of Wuqi oilfield have been comprehensive analyzed by cast thin section , scanning electron microscope , image analysis , mercury injection data analysis and mathematical statistics methods.The results demonstrated that : the sandstone of the region of interest reservoir has low compositional maturity , the rock structure also has low maturity , the debris is mainly effusive rock and cryptocrystalline rock , the miscellaneous materials are mainly composed by chlorite , illite , clay ironstone etc , the cement ingredients are mainly calcite , dolomite and cherty ; the hole and permeable sublayer of this reservoir is extremely low , the pore type of this reservoir is mainly intergranular opening and feldspar corroded hollow , the fissure opening is the secondary type , the reservoir physical property is mainly affected by deposit micro-facies distribution roles and diagenesis ; the local developmental microcracks have certain effect to improve reservoir physical property , the sand body property of the subsea diversion channel is the best by evaluating the plane distribution ; the vertical reservoir capacity is controlled by diagenesis ; compaction and cementation make the reservoir physical property obvious become poor ; the secondary pole produced by the dissolution improves the reservoir physical property , forms the effective reservoir.Additionally , this reservoir is predominantlyⅣ.
