Research and Application of Fracturing Technolo-gies in Low Porosity and Low Permeability Reservoirs in Biyang Depression

Reservoirs in Anpeng region in Biyang depression have low porosity and low permeability and highly devel-oped fractures.The oil rate of pay zones in conventional production test is low and production improvement of con-ventional fracturing operation was not evident.A set of fracturing technologies suitable for use in this area is developed through research and evaluation of terrestrial stress,fractur -ing fluid system,propping agent,optimized design of hy-draulic fracturing and reservoir engineering.Field applica-tion of these technologies remarkably improved oil produc-tion and led to a breakthrough in exploration in this region.An oilfield with10million tons reserves was discovered.
