Study of streamline-based simulation method of dual-porosity and single permeability model

  • Streamline - based simulation method is a new reservoir numerical simulation technology that has been developed since 1990s. In recent years, it has been more and more widely applied in reservoir modeling and its application fields are also continuously enlarging. Based on dual - porosity and single - permeability filtration theory, a dual - porosity and single - permeability mathematical model is built and transformed into a streamline - based dual - porosity and single - permeability model by using time of flight. Based on the streamline model built, a calculation program is developed by using streamline - based numerical simulation method. The calculation results accord with the practical production characteristics of fractured reservoirs.
