The application of the capillary pressure curve in micro-cosmic reservoir heterogeneity

  • As capillary pressure curve reflects the size and volum of pore - throat under some displacement pressure of mercury, it can be used to carry out research first on the reservoir pore structure and then on the microcosmic reservoir heterogeneity. According to the detailed analysis of typical mercury pressure curves of the Shanghe oilfield, the capillary pressure curves of all bore specimens, J function curve, pore diameter distribution and permeability - contributing curves were copy - edited. The results show that the microcosmic reservoir heterogeneity of Sha 1 in Shanghe oilfield is quite poor.
