A Predictive Method of Remaining Oil Distribution in the Steam-Soak Stage

Prediction of remaining Oil in viscous crude Oil reservoir with thin interbeds is foundation of taping potentials. This paper through using relationship of degree of reseave recovery, sweep volume efficiency and displacement efficiency to Single wells calculated the drainage radius and drainage area under conditions of steamchanneling and no steamchanneling. According to difference of two area determined width of steamchanneling zone, thus attaining the purpose for predicting remaining Oil.
