Application of pseudo acoustic curve reconstrution technique in reservoir prediction

Most of wells in Haibei sub sag are lack of acoustic logging, which seriously influenced logging constrained inversion results, and can not effectively reflect the reservoir characteristics. In the absence of acoustic logging, with the Faust empirical formula, acoustic curve can be constructed . Faust formula is suitable for the strata with good statistical relationship between resistivity and acoustic logging curve. In the study area, acoustic logging curve in Fu I segment and Taizhou formation are formed with Faust formula, which shows that synthetic seismic record corresponds well with actual seismic and inversion of formation thickness error is relatively small.
