Factors Affecting Odor of Solvent Oil of Kerosene Type
-
Abstract
Odor of solvent oil is the main barrier to its utilization in specific industries. In addition to the impurities it contains such as sulphide and nitrogen compounds, components of hydrocarbon series are also one of the main factors that influence the odor of solvent oil. Especially, monocyclic naphthenes are the main causes of odor of solvent oil after removing impurities of sulfite and nitrogen. Alkane is removed from solvent oil by using molecular sieve and through the combination of hydrofining technology with molecular sieve de-waxing technology, which meets the requirements for odor of products.
