Physical simulation experiment of injection-production coupling
-
Abstract
Aiming at the geological characteristics and development characteristics of oil reservoirs in fault blocks, a physical simulation experiment of injection-production coupling was designed by means of sand filled pipes. The effect of elastic energy on enhanced oil recovery was investigated and the mechanism of enhanced oil recovery was further revealed. The experimental results show that in the stage of confining pressure, the elastic energy stored in the sand pipe can still make the oil flow and drive out, increase the swept area, and enhance the degree of production 19.48%. The injection multiple of each injection and production cycle is 0.038 PV, and the width of the water-cut drop funnel is 0.027 2 PV. The experimental results provide a basis for making relevant development plans.
