Research on hydrocarbon generation potential of Chang-7 member in Yanchang formation,Ordos basin

Chang-7 member of Yanchang formation in the south of Ordos basin is a good hydrocarbon source rock series,and its hydrocarbon generation potential has a direct influence on exploration direction and deployment in the next step.Based on core,outcrop and debris samples of 168-block,the geochemical analysis has been carried out and it is believed that the hydrocarbon source rock of Chang-7 member has characteristics of high organic matter abundance,high maturity and wide distribution range.On the basis of this,the welllogging interpretation model of coring wells on effective hydrocarbon source rock has been established.In combination with drilling data of 235 wells,plane distribution diagrams of the effective hydrocarbon source rock and the hydrocarbon generation quantity calculation have been worked out,and therefore,the hydrocarbon generation intensity and the amount of hydrocarbon generation of each exploration block per unit area in south of Sichuan have been obtained.
