An Analysis on Production Potentials of An Oilfield in Super-high Water -cut Stage——Taking Block 437 in Shuanghe Oilfield as An Example

  • Current water cut is up to 96% in the Block 437 in Shuanghe oilfield, which has been on production for 23 years. This paper studies on the characteristics of seepage flow in reservoirs at high water cut development stage. The features of radial seepage flow parameters are established by using well test technologies. The distribution characteristics of residual oil saturation are studied in detail on the basis of oil saturation and with reservoir engineering principles. The distribution of residual oil saturation in the Block 437 is determined and the pattern of residual oil distribution at super high water cut stage is understood. They have important guiding significances to production plan adjustment and tertiary recovery in oil oilfield.
