Predict Thickness of Reservoir by Using Seismic Attribute Information

Calculation of reservoir thickness is an important part of reservoir description. This paper introduces a prediction method of reservoir thickness by using seismic attribute information contained in seismic response and optimized through neural network and expert systems. Its application in Benbutu block in Yanqi basin, Xinjiang Autonomous Region has achieved good geologic effects.
