Logging evaluation method of Mesozoic reservoir in Xinglongtai buried hill belt of Liaohe depression

  • Mesozoic reservoirs are mainly mixed accumulation of glutenite and breccia. Based on the analysis of basic data, the logging evaluation method suitable for Mesozoic reservoir in Xinglongtai was established. Firstly, based on thin section identification and logging response characteristics of rock-forming minerals, the lithology in this area can be divided into seven types: granitic conglomerate, mixed conglomerate, sandstone, mudstone, basalt, andesite and acid rhyolite, thus solving the problem of difficult identification of lithologic logging. At the meantime, the qualitative and quantitative identification criteria of lithology in this area were established, and the density-neutron calibration curve was constructed to assist lithology identification, forming a logging identification method for lithology of Mesozoic in this area. Secondly, through the analysis of main controlling factors of reservoir, it is concluded that lithology controls physical properties and oilbearing property of reservoir in Xinglongtai buried hill zone, and the reservoir rocks are granitic conglomerate and mixed conglomerate. The qualitative and quantitative identification criteria of reservoir were establishedthus forming a well logging identification method.
