The application of XMAC-Ⅱ log data in evaluation for carbonate rock reservoir

XMAC-Ⅱ combines the monopole with the dipole ef-fectively.It can provide much information of compression wave,shear wave and Stonley wave.It is included that the XMAC-Ⅱ data has many functions in reservoir evaluation of carbonate rock,especially in estimating the validity of the cave reservoir,discriminate of fracture,analysis of permea-bility,identification of reservoir fluid and anisotropy analy-sis.The effect is remarkable.
