  • The exploration and development of the oil-gas field is affected by the reservoir heterogeneity, so it was quite necessary to study the reservoir heterogeneity and find out the rule of the influence for clarifying the distribution of the remaining oil, taking reasonable measures, enhancing recovery factor and etc. Tengger formation of Xinlinhaolai area in the Baiyinchagan sag is a low to super-low permeability reservoir, according to the core thin section, the rock thin section, scanning electron microscope, reservoir property, and so on. A in-depth research has done on Tengger formation reservoir macroscopic heterogeneity. The results show that the reservoir displays strong macroscopic heterogeneity in the interlamination. By using the parameters of the reservoir, the comprehensive evaluation and classification have been carried out. Research shows that the macroscopic heterogeneity is relatively strong in the area on the whole. At the same time, aiming at the influence of heterogeneity to waterflooding development, the favorable zone of the reservoir evaluation has been put forward.
