Application of finite element study on tectonic stress field to horizontal well development of Sulige gas field

  • Structural geologic model of Sulige gas field has been established.By using the finite element analysis method,the paper makes a study on the stress field inversion and threedimensional finite element numerical simulation of tectonic stress field,and gains the maximum principal stress,the minimum principal stress,the maximum shear stress and strain energy distribution of simulation region,and then to predict the regional natural fracture distribution.After the analysis of the structure stress field effect in horizontal well fracturing to hydraulic fracture initiation azimuth,fracture scale has been made.Finally through the micro-fracture four-dimensional vector scanning fracture monitoring data for inspection,the guidance of the gas field horizontal wellintegrated development well pattern deployment and fracturing design has been provided.
