Experimental study on water drive of plane model in narrow channel reservoirs——by taking BZ oilfield as an example

  • In order to recognize the dynamic process of waterflooding development in narrow channel reservoir and explore the influence of plane permeability difference and waterflooding speed on the recovery rate of narrow channel reservoir,according to the geological characteristics and well pattern model of narrow channel reservoir in BZ oilfield,a large plane physical model of narrow channel is designed and made by using similarity criteria,and the distribution of water saturation in two-dimensional model is studied by using resistivity testing technology.Based on the real-time monitoring,the injection production imbalance of narrow channel reservoir due to plane heterogeneity is quantitatively studied.The experimental results show that the larger the permeability difference is,the more obvious the injected water is penetrating along the high permeability zone in the middle of the river,the smaller the sweep range of the narrow river reservoir is,and the lower the overall recovery of the well group is.Increasing the water injection rate can increase the sweep degree of the low permeability zone at the riverside,so as to improve the recovery degree/recovery rate of the narrow channel reservoir.
