Application of nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)log on evaluation of Mesozoic reservoir in Chuansi sag

Compatible with the characteristic of Mesozoic reservoir in Chuanxi sag.the principle,method and advantages of NMR are provided with examples of application.The meth- od compensates conventional logging data for the shortages as whether the reservoirs contain bound water,how much the volume of the bound water is and how many the permea- bility is.The NMR log is superior in the accurate calculation of porosity and permeability,and the classification of pro- duction horizon,dry layer and water yield layer,thus enhan- cing the precision of logging interpretation of the Mesozoic gas sandstone in Chuanxi Basin.
