Abstract: Through analysis of theory and practice,it is obtainedthat natural decline rate depends mainly on water cut inhigh water-cut stage.According to law of water drive oiland derivation in math, the formula to calculate thenatural decline rate is achieved,that is to say,so long aswater cut and rate of oil production are known,it can becalculated and the result is approximate to productionpractice.
