Abstract: Alaxin gasfield is one of important blocks with middle-shallow loose sandstones in Daqing oilfield. With the implementation of the development plan, through comprehensive study such as fine geological description, dynamic analysis and well test evaluation, the geological characteristics of the block have been further clarified, and then the geological reserves have been recalculated. Compared with the proven reserves submitted in the early development stage, however, it has decreased. In this paper, the geological fine research achievements have been discussed. Combined with dynamic methods, the characteristics of small layers and development suggestions have been further confirmed, which can provide guidance for future gasfield development.
