Abstract:
Situated in northern slope zone of Nanyang depression, Zhangdian-Baiqiu area is considered to be the main hydrocarbon migration area where different faults with different strikings have been developed under different stages, forming various complicated faulted-nose and faulted-block traps with different sizes. Dark mudstone of Hetaoyuan formation in Niusanmen sag is believed to be the main source rock. Sand layers and active faults are favorable for hydrocarbon migration. The relationship between sand bodies and source rocks, physical property differences of different sedimentary microfacies and faults distribution are main controlling factors for hydrocarbon migration and enrichment.
