Abstract: Based on the Archie formula,we obtain a new method to calculate water saturation by using array induction logging data.By taking the full advantage of the different resistivity ratio,avoiding porosity calculation and increasing the applications of direct measure parameters,to some extent,we effectively reduced the impact of physical parameters calculating and lithology,improved the accuracy of water saturation and achieved the quantitative evaluation of reservoir fluid identification.
