Abstract: The paper made research on developed storm sediment of Cambrian Moheershan formation in Kuruktag areathrough field profile actual measurement and microscopical thin section analysis,According to the structure,grain dust shape and color difference of storm sediment ,storm rock of the study are has been grouped as four types,which are situ storm coarse-grained rock,remote-type storm coarse par-ticle rock,hummocky cross rock and storm turbidity rock. These four types of storm rocks developed in the plateau land from the sea-front slope to the shallow shelf of a vast shal-low sea environment.
