Abstract: There are many ways to identify overpressure gas re- serves by using material balance principle in the literature. The data and solving method selected in these ways are dif- ferent,and the calculated reserves for a same group of data are different.Therefore,these reserves confuse the field re- searchers.A comprehensive analysis six dynamic analysis methods is made,and the comparison of all methods with examples is provided,which can provide theoretical guidance for method selection in the calculation of gas reservoir re- serves.
