Abstract: An empirical equation to calculate the saturation pres- sure of sandstone pool in Liaohe sag is obtained through the analysis on high-pressure physical properties of 270 crude oil samples.The data of high-pressure physical properties of 18 wells are selected,and the saturation pressures are cal- culated respectively by the empirical equations in the area and abroad.In comparison with the measured result,the empirical equation from the local samples is more accurate than the one abroad,which suggests that it is feasible.
