Main controlling factors of thermal gas channeling under horizontal well network of A oilfield in Bohai bay basin

  • 摘要: 渤海湾盆地A油田是中国第一个海上稠油热采的先导试验区,采用水平井多元热流体吞吐开发,随着热采井吞吐轮次的增加,各井间气窜现象突出,严重影响了油田生产。通过以热采区水平井为研究对象,从内在和外在两个方面进行气窜主控因素研究。结果表明,由构造低部位往高部位易发生气窜,同一构造幅度的井间气窜可能性小;水平段相对位置顺着废弃河道和侧积夹层的方向易发生气窜;在后续注热过程中,存气量大的区域容易气窜;地层压力下降快,导致在注入条件相同的情况下气液比相对增加,加大气体的波及半径,发生气窜可能性大。结合矿场实际,提出多井面积吞吐治理气窜,有效地抑制了新一轮吞吐过程中的气窜,改善了油田开发效果。

     

    Abstract: The A oilfield in the Bohai bay basin is the first pilot test area for thermal recovery of heavy oil in the sea in China. Horizontal wells are developed by multi-element thermal fluid huff and puff. With the increase of huff and puff cycles in thermal recovery wells, gas channeling between wells is prominent, which seriously affects oilfield production. By taking horizontal wells in thermal recovery area as the research object, the main controlling factors of gas channeling are studied from both internal and external aspects. The results show that gas channeling is easy to occur from low part to high part of the structure, and the possibility of gas channeling between wells with the same structural amplitude is small. The horizontal section is prone to occur gas channeling along the direction of abandoned river channel and lateral interlayer. In the subsequent heat injection process, the area with large gas storage is liable to occur gas channeling. The formation pressure drops rapidly, which leads to the relative increase of gas-liquid ratio under the same injection conditions, increasing the sweep radius of gas and increasing the possibility of gas channeling. Based on the field practice, this paper puts forward the control of gas channeling in multi-well area huff and puff, which can effectively suppress the gas channeling in the new round of huff and puff, and improve the development effect of oil field.
