Abstract: Qiulitage structural belt is the most important oil and gas exploration area in the Kuqa depression.Controlled by paleo uplifts,the belt is characterized by quick sedimentary changes in Mesozoic and limited structure development space of south Tianshan thrust faults,and therefore,there are big differences between the two sets of detachment structure and obvious deformation characteristics in east and west.According to structural patterns and different characteristics of hydrocarbon exploration,the Qiulitage structural belt can be divided into two big segments:the segments in the east and in the west,which could be further subdivided into five small segments:Jiamu segment,western part of Xiqiu,eastern part of Xiqiu,Dongqiu segment,and Dina segment.The oil and gas exploration direction in different segments is different.
