Abstract:
In combination with the status of cementing quality evaluation in Xinzhuang oilfield and the shortcomings of current evaluation methods in use, this paper briefly introduces the concept, interpretation methods and advantages of acoustic variable density (MAK2)/gamma- density thickness (SGDT) logging device, and analyzes its application effects in Xinzhuang oilfield. In comparison with the cementing quality evaluation method of acoustic - variable density (VCBL - VDL) in common use at present, this new method can provide, in addition to cementation parameters, eccentricity and thickness of casing and average density of annular cement sheath. Therefore, evaluation results are more accurate and reliable in deviated holes and heavy oil wells with a thickening up to the surface.
