Slope break zone development and characteristics in Pinghu slope zone around Xihu sag of east China sea basin

  • 摘要: 通过对东海盆地西湖凹陷平湖斜坡带坡折带的研究,定义了坡折带的级次和类别,完善了坡折带在规模上的划分,并在构造旋回期次的基础上结合沉积相的展布规律研究了坡折带的演化历史,动态地刻画了坡折带对沉积体系的控制作用。研究认为,按规模大小本区坡折带可分为三个级次,按成因机制可分为侵蚀坡折带和断裂坡折带。研究区发育的一级坡折带呈S型走向贯穿南北,北部坡折带类型丰富,南部次之,中部最少。坡折带的演化与凹陷的活动有着很大的相关性。坡折带南、北演化具有一定的差异性,且在平北区所控制的三角洲相展布范围较平南区小。

     

    Abstract: This paper defines the levels and categories of slope break zones,perfects the division of scale,and studies the evolution history based on the tectonic cycle and the distributive regularities of sedimentary facies so that the control action of slope break zones to sedimentary system can be depicted dynamically. The study shows that the slope break zones can be classified into first-order slope break zones,second -order slope break zones and third-order slope break zones according to their size,and their genetic types can be divided into fault slope break zones and erodent slope break zones. The first-order slope break zones showing S type throughout south-north are rich in north area and less in south area,and the least in the middle area. The development of slope break zones are controlled by the activities of Xihu sag and the south-north evolution of slope break zones are different. The distribution range of delta facies controlled by the slope break zones in Pingbei district is smaller than Pingnan district. Consequently it is obvious that the study of slope break zone in Pinghu slope zone around Xihu Sag of East China Sea shows important theoretical value and operation significance for petroleum exploration in this area.
