Abstract: In order to achieve sustainable development in Huanxil-ing field ,horizontal well technology as the core,has been widely used in recent years in the deployment of block expansion side,bottom water reservoir tapping ,thin layer oilfieldproduction,secondary development of the old liberated areas,multi-point steam injection to improve the level of horizontal section production,heavy oil reservoir gas pressure test,etc. The application of the horizontal well 72 in theHuan 2-17-10 blocks 12 different types of the old block has achieved good results after putting into operation,which greatly improved the Huanxiling oil field development,a-chieve the purpose of stable production of old oil fields,andexplored a new path in sustainable high efficient development of old oil fields.
