Abstract: Dongzhuang oilfield, a complex fault block reservoir with low permeability, has 9 small fault blocks with a total oil - bearing area of 4. 4km2 and geological reserves of 2. 59 million tons. The deeply buried reservoirs have poor physical properties and contain crude oil with high wax content and high solidification point This oilfield has not been put on for its development is very difficult, though it has been discovered over 30 years ago. In viewing of the geologic features of this oilfield, this paper analyzes the feasibility of economic and effective development of this oilfield, adaptability of waterflooding, well pattern and well spacing, rational pressure level and single well production capacity.
