An Experimental Study on Biochemical Treatment of Wastewater from Heavy Oil Production

A biochemical treatment project was proposed based on analysis of quality of wastewater from heavy oil production and the technological process of wastewater treatment in Henan oilfield. Both laboratory and field experiments were performed on biochemical treatment of wastewater. Experimental results show that treatment process of biological membrane hydrolytic acidization-biological membrane contact oxidation is suitable for use in this oilfield and water quality after treatment with this process can fully meet the drainage standards of national grade Ⅱ.
