Thickness Limit of Huff and Puff in Superheavy Oil Reservoir of 3 to 5m Thick

Geological and development characteristics of the superheavy oil reservoirs of 3 to 5m thick are analyzed in Jinglou and Gucheng oilfields. The thickness limit of huff and puff in extraordinary hin superheavy oil reservoirs with well spacing of 70×100 m and 100×141 m is systematically studied based on the economic accumulative production of single well huff and puff. This technology can be used to guide economic, effective and rational development of superheavy oil reservoirs of 3 to 5m thick.
