Study of fine log interpretation of reservoirs in Wuerhe oilfield

In Wuerhe oilfield, the reservoir poroperm characteristics have large variations, distributions of oil and water are complex, and the formation water is complicated and change greatly. After the logs are preprocessed, the resistivity- porosity method is used to calculate the lower limits of porosity, water saturation and resistivity of oil layers, and fine interpretation models are built for the reservoir parameters in this area. These models are used to process and interpret logs of over 300 wells in the study area Interpretation results show that these methods can provide rational zero standards of oil layers for fine log interpretation in the study area, and can accurately divide oil and water layers. Therefore, they can provide accurate basic parameters for geologic model building, numerical simulation of reservoirs and reserves calculation.
