Prestack Noise Suppression Methods and Their Application

  • Regular and irregular interferences can influence scismic processing results and the application effects of prestack processing methods. In view of the characteristics of interference waves, this paper introduces varies noise suppression methods including velocity filtering and wavelet transform for linear interference suppression, T-P transform for multiple wave attenuation, and multichannel statistics and median filtering for tear pulse interference elimination. In addition, zero -phase spectrum equalizing deconvolution, SPEQ and DMO can suppress random noise. Different suppression methods are used to suppress different type of noise. Real data processing results are of high quality.
