Abstract: Coalbed methane, a kind of non -conventionalnatural gas resource,have two existing status: adsorbed gas on surface of coal grains and suspended gas in micro - pores. Methods of calculating coalbed methanegeologic reserves and of dctcrmining the main calculationparameters are given in this paper on base of physicalstatus analysis of adsorbed gas and free gas.
