Abstract: The particular tectonic setting and sequence stratigraphic characteristics make beach bar lithologic pools on a large scale in the Upper Es4 at Chunliang area in Jiyang Sag.The Superior source-reservoir assemblage and the connection of faults offer abundant hydrocarbon sources.The abnormally high pressure and special source rock structure supplies the dynamic to discharge hydrocarbon.And the beach bar sandstones controlled by the structural location and short-term base-level cycle furnishes the reservoir spaces.As a result, the forming of beach bar oil pools is controlled by two kinds of factors as tectonic setting and reservoir condition.
