Abstract: The paper introduces the successful experience of applying horizontal well to develop buried hill reservoir. Taking CaoGu 1 Well as an example, the paper analysed the main influence factors that the horizontal wells exploited buried hill reservoir, which discussed the feasible approaches of improving the exploitation effect of horizontal well technology. The successful experience and approa- ches offered a better guideline for the development of domestic similarity buried hill reservoir.
