Abstract: In order to obtain good fracturing and acidizing treatment, it is important to select appropriate candidate wells. There are many factors that affect choosing the right candidate wells. The relation between them is very compli- cated and they possess definite fuzziness. The traditional methods of choosing the wells are based on experience, which possess definite subjectivity. With the aid of modern mathematical means: fuzzy mathematics and level a-nalysis principle of systematic engineering, fuzzy comprehensive decision - making method is formed for choosing the candidate wells for fracturing and acidizing. The result of this method is accurate and reliable and is accord with the practical effects. Besides that the method is also simple and convenient, so it has a valuable practical usage.
