Abstract: Oilfield exploration planning is in fact an optimizing process of multi-parameter program. It quantitatively measures the successfulness of exploration through calculation with comprehensive index of petroleum exploration. Qualitative optimization of exploration plan is replaced by quantitative one. This paper analyzes the operability and practicability of this method throughexamples.
