Abstract: Serious sand production in North Hanzhuang oil field restricted its Normal production. This article analyzed the reason of sanding and developed High pressure gravel whack packing and sand control technology, which has applied to three wells in 2005 successfully. At the end of 2005, oil adding accumulated to 1145. 541. The practice indicated this technology has advantage of low input, high successful rate, effective oil adding for loose sand reservoir with serious sanding and it's worthy to promotion.
