Abstract: Economic production life of light oil fields can be determined through calculation of its eco nom ic limit of wa ter -cut by using the basic principles of oilfield development and abundant field data and eco nomic in put-output balance prin ciples.Case analysis on the basis of detail dis cussion of the relevant parameters shows that the methods presented are applicable.
