Multiple Processing system Network and Its application in Seismic Processing

  • 摘要: 日益庞大的地震资料的处理不仅要求高速度运算能力强的计算机来完成,而且要求计算之间组成网络,共同处理,资源共享。为此,提出将VAX机、SGI Power Challenge和Origin2000三大系统及附属设备连成网络的具体方案.使用表明:该方案可行、运行稳定,使用效果良好.

     

    Abstract: The increasingly enlarging seismic data set requires not only the utilization of computers with higher operation speed and stronger operation capacity but also the establishment of a network between the computers to realize joint processing and resource sharing. A concrete plan is presented in this paper to connect the three processing systems of VAX, SGI Power Challenge and Origin 2000 into a network. Application shows that operation of this network is stable and the effects are good.
