Abstract: Seisx system has functions of arbitrarily naming several geologic horizons and displaying multiple base map. With these functions, different names can be given to the same horizon according to the different fault blocks where it is located, thus ensuring that horizon interpretation can trace to its real 'position. Contours of the same horizon in different fault blocks can be calculated individually, and final structural interpretation maps of reversed fault blocks can be drawn. Several compressional areas in Yanqi basin and Santanghu basin were interpreted with this procedure, reliable geologic informtion were obtained and remarkable economicbenefits were achieved.
