Development of Geophysical Data Storage Technology

  • 摘要: 石油勘探和开发工程中,地球物理资料迅速增长,促进了存储技术的迅速发展.文中总结了计算机硬件与软件在存储方面的新进展。在硬件方面,利用更方便、容量更大的物理介质,如磁盘和光盘,产生了性能更加完善的驱动器;在软件方面,利用数据压缩技术,减少了信息占用空间,在相同的存储介质内可以存储更多的信息。文中还论述了存储技术进步带来的经营效益及发展趋势.

     

    Abstract: The rapid increasing of geophysical data profnotes theadvancement of data storage techno1ogies. This papersummerizes the development of hardwares and softwares.With respect to hardwares, more convenient physica1mediums with larger storage capacity such as disc and CDare put into use and drivers with more perfectperformance are developed, in respect to softwares, thespace that data occupied are reduced through datacompression,and more data can be st0red in the samstorage medium. Future development trend of storagetechnology are also discussed
