Abstract: In old producer reviewing, structures are controlled through fully utilization of seismic data and are analyzed in conjunction with real drilling data; sandbody distribution is analyzed based on tracing and correlation of thin layers; and oil layers are evaluated by using multiple interpretation methods and combining with plane oil-water relation. Old producer reviewing has the characteristics of needing small investment and producing an instant effect. It is an effective way to enrich geologic knowledge and increase reserves and production. Several producers with high oil rate have been discovered in Nanyang and Biyang depressions through oil producer reviewing. Further widening the field of oil well production potential tapping not only be vital to searching for new reserves in an oil oil field, but also can be used for reference in exploration and development in new areas.
