Abstract: Sedimentary environment and facies in Qiaokou area in Dongpu depression are analyzed in respects of the features of formation, reservoir, grain size and petrology as well as palaeodrainage pattern, source direction, palaeoecology and palaeoclimate. A chart board for logging facies division is established. Comprehensive development adjustment measures are proposed by taking sedimentary microfacies as basis and in combination with other reservoir study results. Field application of these measures has achieved remarkable economic benefits.
